NATIQ ENVIROWORK 30 by Nylene is manufactured in a closed loop, fiber to fiber recycling process in the longest continuously running depolymerization facility in North America. Nylene has been processing nylon type 6 waste back into caprolactam, the main building block of nylon 6, in their facility in Arnprior, Ontario, Canada, for over 40 years. Nylene is a subsidiary of Polymeric Resource Company of Wayne, New Jersey, an established manufacturer of polymers, nylon compounds, custom resins and engineered plastics.

As an acknowledgement of their commitment to the environment, Nylene provides specifiers of NATIQ ENVIROWORK 30 with an Intelligent Choice Certificate. To receive a certificate, complete the product purchase registration form on their website at natiqnylon.com. Nylene will send an Intelligent Choice Certificate that certifies the product specified contains 30% recycled content.

NATIQ 360 Recycling Program

Any carpet replaced with a NATIQ nylon carpet is eligible for the NATIQ 360 Recycling Program. Nylene handles all logistics of reclamation including locating a recycling center and transporting old carpet from the project site to the reclamation facility. If the carpet being recycled is a nylon 6 product, Nylene will pay all costs of recycling and processing. The customer is only responsible for transportation charges. If the product being recycled is not a nylon 6 product, Nylene will provide a quote for transporting and recycling costs. To take advantage of the program, contact the Nylene Service Center at 877.695.3631.

Nylene utilizes reclamation facilities that guarantee products will be recycled. They provide a written confirmation that products recycled under the NATIQ 360 Recycling Program are truly recycled, not landfilled or incinerated. NATIQ ENVIROWORK 30 and Nylene’s Recycling Programs are SCS Certified.
